The best thing about Ashoka Restaurant is that, nothing is on the menu that cannot be prepared well. Traditional Indian cuisine needs lots of patience and true cooking skills to let it pass muster. Spices, tempering, sautéing or deep frying – all need a skilled hand otherwise, the recipe will turn out to be something very different. Ashoka Restaurant specializes in some of the most traditional recipes and makes them really well. Though the quality of the food is premium, the prices are surprising. You will be surprised to find how affordable it all is. As for prior bookings, that is not really a necessity here, you can just walk in during the lunch or dinner time and have a table. Weekends might see more rush than usual as in restaurants all over the world, just go a little early.
