DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI, VIETNAM
Pick you up on arrival and transfer to the hotel, check in and free time at leisure on your own of exploration the city. Overnight Hanoi
DAY 2: HANOI-HALONG BAY CRUISES (aboard)
Depart at 8.30 am from your hotel in Hanoi and Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board the Huong Hai or Bai Tho traditional sailing junk. Whilst cruise the exquisite waters sample the regions fresh seafood. Visit the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Alternatively journey to Dau Go Cave and nearby see the famous stalagmites and stalactites of Thien Cung Cave. Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at any spot that you wish to visit. Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight on board junk. (B/l/D)
DAY 3: HALONG BAY CRUISES (aboard)
One more day of Cruising and swimming or Kayaking (Upon request)to Lan Ha Bay and three peaches mountain area or Cua Van fishing village, breakfast, seafood lunch and dinner are served on boat. sleep one more night on our Deluxe Junk in Halong Bay tonight.(B/L/D)
DAY 4: HALONG BAY CRUISES-HANOI
Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. En route the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose! After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board disembark at the dock at Halong City. Transfer back to Hanoi by road and will be back Hanoi at early this afternoon, on arrival check in hotel and free on your own at leisure.(B/L)
DAY 5: HANOI CITY TOUR 1DAY
At 9.00 AM, pick you up the hotel, our city tour including visit Hochiminh President Complex(Hochiminh Mausoleum, the house on stilts, presidential palace, the One Pillar Pagoda).Visiting this site, you will understand more about the life of President Ho, a great leader, Hero of national liberation and a great man of world culture. Our next stop is the Temple of literature, which is built in 1070 and it is the first university of Vietnam. Before having lunch, we visit the fine art museum where different kinds of paintings of famous artists are on display. Your lunch will be served at one of the best local restaurants with special of Hanoi cuisine. After lunch, continue our visit to Museum of Ethnology, which exhibits the traditional culture of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. You will take one hour of Cycling trip for sightseeing Hanoi old quarters. Taking this mean of transportation is the best way to have a close look at the 36 streets in Hanoi. At late afternoon, we will transfer back to your hotel at 4.30 Pm. (B/L)
DAY 6: BAT TRANG CERAMIC HALF DAY TOUR
At 9.00 in the morning, we leave for Bat Trang Ceramic Village, Bat Trang is famous for hand-painted ceramics for a thousand years. Its products vary from utilitarian ware, cult ware to decorative objects and they are made by skilled craftsmen. Here you can wander freely into any of the workshops or galleries inside the village for watching and buying or see the ceramics being made whilst you watch, you can even try making ceramics products on your own under the enthusiastic instruction of these craftsmen. Tour ends, We will drive back Hanoi and transfer back to your hotel at 12.00 Am at noon. (B)
DAY 7: HANOI-HUE (FLIGHT)
Transfer back Noi Bai airport for flying to Hue, pick you up at Phu Bai airport and transfer to hotel, free at leisure on your own of exploration Hue. Overnight at the hotel.(B)
DAY 8: HUE SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Hue was once the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty of Emperors from 1802-1945. There are many mausoleums to visit as well as the fascinating Dong Ba market, famous for selling the best conical hats in Vietnam. This morning, we will start our sightseeing tour in hue including to visit the Imperial Citadel and the King tombs of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh, This afternoon you will be free on your own of exploration the city of go shopping. Dinner in town is on your own too. Overnight in hotel in Hue (B)
DAY 9: HUE- HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
Drive from Hue for two and half hours to Danang, we will pass the fishing village of Lang co before ascending the scenic Hai van pass (cloudy pass) where a spectacular panorama of the center coastline can be viewed at the summit, upon arrival in Da Nang visit Cham museum, one of the 5 oldest museums in The ASIA, containing the finest collection of Cham sculptures and visit marble mountains before continuing to hoi an ancient town. Check in the hotel on arrival and free time for shopping and dinner. Overnight in Hoi An. (B/L)
DAY 10: HOI AN- MY SON- WALKING TOURS
Depart from Hoi an at 8.30 am this morning and heading for My Son, some 60 Km away from Hoi An Town, My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century. Their religion was primarily derived from Indian Hinduism. My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam. The complex is comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the second century. This site is a Must-See for those people who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations and is now one of five UNESCO World Heritage sites in Vietnam. After touring My Son, We will drive back Hoi an town for lunch at a top local restaurant, next will be started our walking tour to visit Hoi an ancient town, From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. Some places that not to be missed in town are the former merchants’homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market. Transfer back the hotel, free time for dinner. Overnight Hoian.(B)
DAY 11: HOI AN-DANANG- SAIGON / Flight
After breakfast, Free at leisure and next will be transferred to the airport for flying to Saigon/ Hochiminh city, meet our local guide at Tan Son Nhat airport to transfer to your hotel in downtown, free time at leisure. Overnight Saigon (B)
DAY 12: CU CHI TUNNELS & SAIGON CITY 1DAY
Early in the morning, we pick you up at your hotel and depart for cu chi tunnels. By 1965, 250 km of tunnels criss-crossed Cu Chi and surrounding areas -just across the Saigon River was the notorious guerrilla power base known as the IRON TRIANGLE. The Cu Chi tunnels played a vital part in the American war in that they allowed the Viet Cong to control a large rural area only 30 to 40 km from Saigon. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border. The network, parts of which were several levels deep, included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and feel of what underground life in the American War must have been like. The tunnels have been widened for our benefit (otherwise we would not be able to enter them!) For those interested there’s even the opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range. Allegedly the old wooden targets resembled US Marines! Return back to Saigon for lunch, next will be visiting the Reunification Palace, war Museum, China Town and Notre Dame Cathedral. At early this afternoon, tour will be finished at your hotel at 5.00 PM. (B/L)
DAY 13: CAI BE-CAN THO CRUISES
Pick up at hotel and drive for Cai Be, some 150 km away from Saigon, on arrival Cai Be at noon. Welcome drink, Introduction to the ship and crew, check into the cabins. Departure towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang river. Lunch while en route. Rest on the deck. The Bassac slips into the Chợ Lách canal, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the river traffic, between markets and churches, a unique opportunity for a glimpse of the very varied life on the banks as well as on the water. Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit of the orchard or rice fields nearby. Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit River.The Bassac sets anchor just downstream from the little Tra On floating market, for the night. (B/L/D)
DAY 14: CAN THO CRUISES- SAIGON
You may get up for breakfast as early as 06:30, as the ship is resuming its cruise the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho. Arrival in Cai Rang floating market, check out and transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and return to the Ninh Kieu pier. End of services by mid-morning on shore at Cần Thơ. Please note you will leave the Bassac for good upon boarding the small boat for the last visit. Meet back our driver to transfer back Saigon. Overnight Saigon (B)
DAY 15: SAIGON- SIEMREAP-TEMPLE TOURS/ FLY (D)
Transfer back the Tan Son Nhat airport for flying to Siemreap of Cambodia,Upon arrival in Siem Reap airport, transfer to hotel for check in.
PM: Visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Buffet Dinner and enjoy Khmer Traditional Dance Show at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel
DAY 16: SIEMREAP TEMPLE TOURS(B)

AM: Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century) : the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
PM: Visit to Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic. Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation.

DAY 17: ANGKOR TOURS(B)

AM: We drive to visit to Banteay Srei temple (10th century), regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art. Then continue your visit to Banteay Samre, build in the third quarter of the 12th century. it consists of a central temple with four wings preceded by a hall and accompany by two libraries, the southern example remarkably well preserved.
PM: Visit to the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang (The Royal Baths was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Keo, constructed in late 10th early 11th century C.E, the first temple to be constructed wholly of sandstone.

DAY 18: SIEMREAP DEPARTURE(B)

AM: We board on boat in the Tonle Sap Lake. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals.
