DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI
On arrival Hanoi International airport. You are transferred to the hotel in down town, check in to the hotel and free at leisure for your own exploration the city. Overnight in hotel in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI FULL DAY CITY TOUR
At 9.00 AM, pick you up the hotel, our city tour including visit Hochiminh President Complex (Hochiminh Mausoleum, the house on stilts, presidential palace, the One Pillar Pagoda). Our next stop is the Temple of literature, which is built in 1070 and it is the first university of Vietnam. Before having lunch, we visit the Army museum where different kinds of US, Russian aircraft and tanks from Vietnam-US wars are on display. Your lunch will be served at one of the best local restaurants with special of Hanoi cuisine. After lunch, continue our visit to Hoa Lo or Hanoi hilton prison where all US pilots was captured during the bombing years to the north Vietnam from 1964-1972. Next, you will enjoy one hour of Cycling trip for sightseeing Hanoi old quarters. Taking this mean of transportation is the best way to have a close look at the 36 streets in Hanoi. At late afternoon, we will see the water puppet show and have dinner at top local restaurant in town. Overnight Hanoi (B/L/D)
DAY 3: HANOI- HALONG BAY
Have breakfast in the hotel, next we will heading for Halong bay, some 165 km away from Hanoi and takes some 3hours, as we will pass through the Red river delta, the second largest one in Vietnam. arrive by noontime at the dock, we board our traditional – designed wooden junk to begin a 4 hours cruise through spectacular ha long bay, visiting the amazingly beautiful caves and grottos and fishing villages, enjoy a fresh seafood lunch will be served on boat, our dinner for tonight also will served on boat. Overnight on a junk boat (B/L/D)
DAY 4: HALONG BAY CRUISE - HANOI - HUE CITY (FLIGHT)
Early morning, get up to catch the sunrise on the bay, it’s a sight not worth missing. Then you can have breakfast. Explore and cruise down to Bai Tu long bay for more sightseeing and photography opportunities, a farewell lunch on boat before we will get back to the dock. Meet back the driver and drive straight back to Hanoi and On arrival Hanoi, Transfer back to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Hue, On arrival Phu Bai airport of Hue, meet with our guide and driver at airport to transfer to your hotel in Hue. Overnight in Hue (B/L)
DAY 5: HUE CITY TOUR - HOIAN ANCIENT TOWN
After breakfast in the hotel, we will depart for sightseeing tour of Hue ancient, Being the ancient capital, Hue is surrounded with ancient tombs of emperors past, and a visit to the most beautiful tombs will be the itinerary for today. The first stop of the day. You will enjoy a great view on the Perfume River and surrounding area. Thien Mu Pagoda is considered the symbol of Hue, and of Buddhism in Vietnam. From here we will cruise further to the ornate Minh Mang’s tomb and the Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. tour ends, will transfer back the hotel. Tour ends, we will drive for Hoian town, some 170km away. check in the hotel on arrival, next will be dinner at local restaurant and Overnight Hoian (B/L/D)
DAY 6: HOIAN- WALKING TOUR - SAIGON/ FLIGHT
Have breakfast at Hotel and will visit Hoi An Ancient Town- The ancient architecture of Hoi An is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. Visit Japanese Covered Bridges, PhuocKien Merchant Temple, the 200 years old Tam Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market, a walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls which reflect the multi-cultural past Hoian. tour ends, transfer for lunch and drive for Da Nang, next will be flying to Tan Son Nhat airport in Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.(B/L)
DAY 7: SAIGON- CITY TOUR - CAN THO MEKONG DELTA
After breakfast and Start our half day city tour included of visiting to the Unification Palace, the former palace of President Thieu and his predecessors. Today this building is a museum and venue for official receptions. there will be over 1 hour of sightseeing entire the building from the private rooms of the president, the “War Room” from where the South Vietnamese forces were controlled, and under-ground head quarter. Next will be the Post Office and the Saigon Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and one of the city’s major landmarks. Neo-Romanesque in form, Notre Dame is the major seat of the Catholic religion in modern Vietnam. We continue to the War Remains Museum, where you can learn a lot about the Vietnam War and then we will return hotel after 4 hours of exploring the Saigon. lunch at local restaurant and this afternoon with depart for Can Tho city in the Mekong delta, some 200km from Saigon. Overnight in Cantho (B/L/D)
DAY 8: CAN THO- CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET- CHAU DOC
Breakfast in the hotel, early this morning, we will cruise to visit and taking pictures at the Cai Rang - Phong Dien floating market (the nicest one with heaps of rowing boats). Take in the beautiful scenery and the daily activities of the locals who lives along the Mekong canals and stop over some the village to visit a rice husking mill and a rice noodles making shop. Continue our car trip for Chau Doc, check in on arrival and next will visit the Sam mountain to enjoy the a breath-taking view on the Vietnamese-Cambodian border with flat rice fields and nice canals, visit caved pagoda. Over night in Chau Doc (B/L/D)
DAY 9: CHAU DOC - CRUISE UP PHNOMPENH (Cambodia)
Have breakfast in the hotel before transfer to Chau Doc pier and start our express boat cruise up to Phnom Phenh city of Cambodia, the boat takes some 5 hours of cruising and arrival time to Phnompenh city at 13.00 pm, meets and transfers to hotel for check in Lunch not included In the afternoon, visit the National Museum. Housed in a beautiful traditional building, it contains many outstanding examples of Khmer craftsmanship. Learn about a brighter period in Cambodian history with a visit to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. Explore Wat Phnom, a peaceful temple situated on a hill for which the city is named. According to legend, a 14th-century woman named Penh found sacred Buddhist objects in the nearby river and placed them here on the small hill. Dinner not included and night at hotel in Phnom Penh(B)
DAY 10: PHNOMPENH - SIEMREAP
Breakfast at hotel Transfer to Phnom Penh airport for flight to Siem Reap (airfare quoted separately) Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport meets and transfers directly for the visit to: The ancient Khmer civilization site of Hariharalaya, which flourished in the late 9th and early 10th Centuries. These are the earliest temples in the Angkor area and are referred as the Roluos group. The three Roluos temples are Bakong Temple Mountain with wonderful carvings on the false doors and lintels, the funerary temple of Preah Ko, Lolei Temple with the Roluos group's most exquisite carvings and inscriptions. Lunch not included Visit to the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang ("The Royal Baths" was once used or ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls), Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake) and Preah Khan temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, the temple of Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation. DAY 11: SIEMREAP- ANGKOR TEMPLE TOUR
Breakfast at hotel Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12 century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch not included Visit to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor: Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Enjoy wonderful sunset from the top of Pre Rup Temple. Dinner not included and night at hotel (B)
DAY 12: SIEMREAP - LUANGPRABANG/ FLIGHT
Breakfast at hotel In the morning, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap lake at KAMPONG PHLUK VILLAGE. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current. Lunch not included Transfer to Siem Reap airport for flying to Luangprabang of Laos, transfer to your hotel and Overnight in Luang Prabang (B)
If your time permit, you have had time to rest and freshen up we will head off to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang. Cycling on we are seeing the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. From there we will climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River. Decenting the mountain your will find yourself in the midst of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a unique selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts locally made by both ethnic Lao and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Your evening is free to explore the city or relax at the hotel. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
DAY 13: LUANGPRABANG SIGHTSEEING TOUR
This morning we board our private boat for a pleasant and scenic cruise up on the Mekong River to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years. Returning to Luang Prabang we disembark our boat and have the option of taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving or returning to the hotel for free time to relax. Your evening is free to explore on foot or by bicycle, treat yourself to a spa treatment or massage or just enjoy a few drinks by the riverside. Overnight in Luang Prabang (B)
DAY 14: LUANGPRABANG DEPARTURE
Depending on your flight time this morning we will visit to the Arts & Ethnology Centre and take a stroll through the Morning Market before transfer to the airport for departure (B).
