Project to preserve cultural heritage for ethnic minority groups
The two-phase project, which will run from 2007 till 2015, targets seven ethnic minority groups, namely the Tay, Dao, San Chay, San Diu, Nung, HMong, Pa Then, and the Thuy group.

Several research surveys and studies of the artifacts of local ethnic minority groups inhabiting northern Tuyen Quang Province have been carried out under a project aiming to preserve their cultural heritages.
The two-phase project, which will run from 2007 till 2015, targets seven ethnic minority groups, namely the Tay, Dao, San Chay, San Diu, Nung, HMong, Pa Then, and the Thuy group.
The ethnic minorities cultural villages will also be preserved for the sake of developing local tourism. Focus will be put on restoring traditional houses, costumes, and gastronomy, reviving traditional handicrafts, and upholding time-honoured cultural activities like festivals, performances featuring traditional musical instruments and folk songs.
