Two centuries ago, Dong Da was a battlefield where Quang Trung (Nguyen Hue), a Tay Son farmer who later became a National Hero defeated more than 200,000 soldiers of the Qing invading army...
Time: 5th day of the first lunar month.
Place: Phu Phong small town, Tay Son District,
Objects of worship: Emperor Quang Trung (Nguyen Hue) and leaders of Tay Son movement.
Characteristics: Drumming competition (Tay Son fighting drum), perform imitative battle, martial art: playing with fighting sticks danh con, di quyen (a Vietnamese form of Kung Fu, a system of unarmed combat using the hands and feet as weapons)
