DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI
Pick you up at Noi Bai airport on arrival, transfer to Hanoi for check in Hotel and free time on your own of exploration the city. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI CITY FULL DAY
At 9.00 AM, pick you up the hotel, our city tour including visit Hochiminh President Complex (Hochiminh Mausoleum, the house on stilts, presidential palace, the One Pillar Pagoda).
Visiting this site, you will understand more about the life of President Ho, a great leader, Hero of national liberation and a great man of world culture. Our next stop is the Temple of literature, which is built in 1070 and it is the first university of Vietnam.
Visit the Army museum where different kinds of US, Russian aircraft and tanks from Vietnam-US wars are on display.
Your lunch will be served at one of the finest local restaurant with special of Hanoi cuisine.
PM: Continue our visit to Hoa Lo or Hanoi hilton prison where all US pilots was captured during the bombing years to the north Vietnam from 1964-1972.
Enjoy one hour of Cycling trip for sightseeing Hanoi old quarters. Taking this mean of transportation is the best way to have a close look at the 36 streets in Hanoi.
At late afternoon, we will see the water puppet show and have dinner at top local restaurant in town. Overnight Hanoi (B/L/D)
DAY 3: HANOI- HALONG BAY
After breakfast, we will depart for Halong bay, some 165 km away from Hanoi(some 2 and half hours drive). Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life.
On arrival Halong city, welcome on board of Halong Junk and set sail through the bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth.
After lunch, we cruise to the inside of magical landscape of Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Binh Phong mountain, Sung Sot Cave, Round over Titov Beach. Enjoy sunset on the top of the Titov mountain or you take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnels with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon.
Back on board Junk, enjoy dinner on boat. Overnight on board junk.(B/L/D)
DAY 4: HALONG -HANOI- DONG HOI /by night train
Rise to the sound of the ocean coming to life for another lovely day. Before breakfast, you may have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, we cruise to the Bai Tho Mountain in the other beautiful Bai Tu Long Bay and we cruise back to the Halong dock.
Lunch on boat before checkout is at 11:45.
Boat arrive at harbor by 12:00 free time for shopping .
12h45 Transfer back to Hanoi by road and will be back Hanoi at early this afternoon, on arrival transfer to Le Duan Train Station and heading for Dong Hoi of Quang Binh. The train departs at 09.15pm this Evening. Overnight on train.(B/L/D)
DAY 5: ARRIVAL QUANG BINH- SUN SPA RESORT
We will arriva Dong Hoi train station very early this morning (at 5.30 am) and meet our local guide and diver to transfer to the Sun Spa resort for relaxing and swimming, Sun Spa resort is one of the biggest resort in Vietnam with a long private beach. Overnight in Quang Binh .(B)
DAY 6: QUANG BINH- DMZ- HUE
Pick up at your hotel and heading for Dong Ha Town, it was the location on a strategically important U.S. Marine Combat Base, outposted to provide surveillance of troops movements across the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), Doc Mieu base: One part of an elaborate electronic system (McNamara’s wall) intended to prevent infiltration across the DMZ, Hien Luong bridge: known as the “Peace Bridge”, a beam bridge built from steel by the French in 1950, Ben Hai river: an important landmark in the partition of the country into a northern and a southern zone along the 17th parallel by the Geneva Accords of 1954 6. next will be the Rock pile: a base for American long – range artillery nearby. Khe Sanh combat base: is a valley surrounded entirely by rolling mountains and forest. Was one of the most controversial battles – of the American War. tour ends, drive for Hue and check in hotel on arrival. Overnight in Hue (B)
DAY 7: HUE CITY TOUR- HOI AN
Hue was once the capital of the Nguyen Dynasty of Emperors from 1802-1945. There are many mausoleums to visit as well as the fascinating Dong Ba market, famous for selling the best conical hats in Vietnam.
This morning, we will start our sightseeing tour in hue including to visit the Imperial Citadel and the King tombs of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh,
lunch will be served at top local restaurant in Hue before driving for Hoi an ancient town, some 140km away.
We will pass the fishing village of Lang co, upon arrival in Da Nang visit Cham museum, one of the 5 oldest museums in The ASIA, containing the finest collection of Cham sculptures before continuing to hoi an ancient town. Check in the hotel on arrival and free time for shopping and dinner.(B/L)
DAY 8: HOIAN HALF DAY TRIP
Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders.
These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. A morning walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200 - year old, Tam Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge, after lunch, we will drive for the holy land of Cham people in Vietnam some 60km away from Hoi an town, the My Son. My Son is the former capital of the ancient Cham civilization that ruled Central Vietnam from the second to the thirteenth century. Their religion was primarily derived from Indian Hinduism. My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham structures in Vietnam. The complex is comprised of seventy Hindu-like towers and temples dating from the second century.
This site is a Must-See for those people who are interested in architecture and ancient civilizations and is now one of five UNESCO World Heritage sites in Vietnam. tour ends, transfer back Hoian and free time for dinner. Overnight Hoian (B/L)
DAY 9: HOI AN- DANANG- NHA TRANG- MUI NE/ FLIGHT
Have breakfast in the hotel and next will transfer to Danang airport for flying to Nha Trang, some 1 hour away, meet our guide and car at Cam Ranh airport in Nha Trang and driving for Mui Ne in Phan Thiet beach city. km distance from Nha Trang to Mui ne around 220 km and driving time is over 3hours.
On arrival, check in the hotel and free time for relaxing and swimming, Muine beach is one of the most beautiful beach in Vietnam or also called the Hawaii in Asia. Overnight Mui Ne (B)
DAY 10: MUI NE BEACH SWIMING
Free day for relaxing and swimming or any option tours with windsurfing, one of very popular water spot in Mui Ne Beach. Overnight Mui Ne (B)
DAY 11: MUI NE - DALAT
Free time for swimming in the morning and have lunch on your own at hotel before checking out and drive for Dalat mountains, some over 3 hours driving. Check in the hotel on arrival and free time for dinner (B)
DAY 12: DALAT SIGHTSEEING TOUR
Pick up from hotels at 8.30 am, we will drive for the Lat village, which is located under the foot of Langbian Mountain, now is the center of the Lat community (15km North of Dalat). Strolling in the village of the native people of the area.
Visit Lat’s traditional house with their farming tools, musical instruments and belongings. Learning about Lat culture. Admiring the talent of Lat women in a weaving workshop. Tasting “T’nom” - a special fermented rice wine of the Lat. Back to town for Lunch and next will visit the Bao Dai King palace, Truc Lam Zen Monastery, Embroidery XQ Centre Dalat before transfer Back the hotel. Overnight Dalat (B/L)
DAY 13: DALAT- SAIGON- CU CHI TUNNELS/ FLIGHT
Have breakfast in the hotel and transfer to Lien Khuong airport and take your flights to Saigon, some 1 hour away from Dalat, meet our guide and driver at Tan Son Nhat airport and will depart for cu chi tunnels. By 1965, 250 km of tunnels Criss-crossed Cu Chi and surrounding areas –just across the Saigon River was the notorious guerrilla power base known as the IRON TRIANGLE.
The Cu Chi tunnels played a vital part in the American war in that they allowed the Viet Cong to control a large rural area only 30 to 40 km from Saigon. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border. The network, parts of which were several levels deep, included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and feel of what underground life in the American War must have been like.
The tunnels have been widened for our benefit (otherwise we would not be able to enter them!) For those interested there’s even the opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range.
Tour ends, we will drive for Saigon, some 65km away from Cu Chi and check in hotel on arrival. Overnight Saigon (B/L)
DAY 14: SAIGON– MEKONG DELTA 1DAY
Heading out of the town, we travel by roads to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up.
The most interesting excursion will pass the lush green vegetation before arriving at the most beautiful Unicorn Island. Here we have opportunities to visit some fascinating local industries, stroll around an orchard and taste many seasonal fruits. And then we continue our trip to see fascinating local industries in Ben Tre Province.
After feasting on a huge lunch we return to Saigon with stop over at the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda.
On arrival, transfer to your hotel for fresh up and next will transfer to top local restaurant for dinner. Overnight Saigon (B/L/D)
DAY 15: SAIGON DEPARTURE
Free time until transfer back the Tan Son Nhat International airport for flight onwards, tour ends (B)
