Payment

20% of the total tour cost to be deposited upon commitment of the tour, this deposit is non-refundable. The remaining 80% of the total tour cost to be paid 45 days (for FIT Booking ) and 60 Days (for GIT Booking) prior to arrival date. If booked less than 45 days from arrival, full payment is required immediately.

Where deposits and advance payments are required from contractors/third parties, these will also be invoiced to the client for payment (in addition to the 20% deposit). This will be required for Vietnampathfinder to secure services contractors/third parties. Pre-payment procedures during high/peak seasons may also vary, depending on the accommodation policy to guarantee the booking. Vietnampathfinder will inform you accordingly about this for each individual case.

We do accept payment methods:

+ Bank transfer = 25$/ 1 time bank fees/ whole amount (takes 3 days to complete and easy, this is low bank fees for big amount)

+ Credit card = 2.7% bank fees is levied in addition to the invoiced amount. Kindly make sure you include the invoice number or contact our Accounting Department for an invoice number so that your payment can be identified. Please also check with the bank who issued your credit card to ensure that no other bank fee is applied.

+ Paypayl online = 4.7%, fast but high fees

+Cash on arrival:  50% deposit for booking services (after confirmation) and the balance by cash on arrival Vietnam ( collect by tour guides, drivers directly from tour leader or your clients).


Cancellations & Refunds

Any cancellations should be made in writing to VietnamPathfinder Travel (email at: info@vietnampathfinder.com ). Cancellations beyond your control subject to Force Majeure can be covered under travel insurance. We recommend you buy Travel insurance before you complete payment of your travel and review its relevant product disclosure statement.


For FIT booking (group of less than 14 People travel together)

Cancellation fees of loss of deposit will be applied if a confirmed booking is cancelled 22 days or more prior to arrival date

For bookings that are cancelled by the passenger or agent 21 - 15 days prior to arrival date, loss of 50% of the total tour cost will be applied.

For bookings that are cancelled by the passenger or agent 14 - 8 days prior to arrival date, loss of 75% of the total tour cost will be applied.

Vietnampathfinder reserves the right to claim 100% of the total tour cost should the cancellation happen within 7 days before departure.

For GIT booking (group from 14 People up travel together)

Cancellation fees of loss of deposit will be applied if a confirmed booking is cancelled 60 days or more prior to arrival date

For bookings that are cancelled by the passenger or agent 60 - 31 days prior to arrival date, loss of 50% of the total tour cost will be applied.

For bookings that are cancelled by the passenger or agent 30 - 15 days prior to arrival date, loss of 75% of the total tour cost will be applied.

Vietnampathfinder reserves the right to claim 100% of the total tour cost should the cancellation happen within 14 days before departure.

Depending on airlines, hotels, cruises and third party cancellation policies, the above conditions may be modified on application. Vietnampathfinder will aim to negotiate with suppliers to waive or minimize these charges to you at best.


Refund & Non-Refundable

+ Any refund may takes from 15 days to 3 Months and We reserve the right to modify these refund policy without prior notice.

+ A Non-refundable  of 100 USD for booking tours when complete the booking confirmation


Hotel Ratings & Accommodation

Although hotels/guest houses/accommodation in the region may provide you with information about their qualification, the properties used and offered by Vietnampathfinder in this part of the world may not all have official star qualification issued by an official government-accredited hotel association in the country of operation. Vietnampathfinder provide you with its own internal star qualification which is based on its own experience and certain criteria to ensure you have an interpretation of the qualification. Vietnampathfinder cannot be held liable in any way for this star qualification.

There are limited hotels/resorts, with standard triple rooms in their inventory. These are commonly double/twin rooms with an extra (rollaway) bed, limiting space within the room. Please inform all concerned accordingly to correctly manage expectations. Extra bed rates / triple sharing room rates are available in the confidential tariff.

Single room supplements are indicated in the confidential tariff. It is common that the provided rooms are twin/double rooms for single use only.

Preferences such as smoking/non-smoking, interconnecting rooms, king-size beds, and location of the room cannot be guaranteed or confirmed in advance and are subject to hotel policy and availability at time of check-in.

Hotels or Similar Standards, this mean, we will book your accommodation in a similar hotel standards that based on room, service quality and star category, we will email to inform and will only confirm when get final decision from you before block the services.

Child Policies
( Must be under 12 years old upon travelling date)

We will apply the tour rates as following when you process booking online our packages

* Child in half twin shared with 01 adult                           100% of adult fare

* Child in extra bed, shared room with 02 adults               75% of adult fare

* Child without bed, shared room with 02 adults               50% of adult fare

* Complementary for kid under 5years old shared bed with parents

As you can see when booking online, we only charge the child with 50% of adult fare and accept this term, mean, the hotel room will arrange with a twin or double bed (or without an extra bed) and your Child will share room with 02 adults (Parents).
So, if you will request an extra bed after completed our online booking, we will add surcharge further of 25% of adult fare and this payment will be collected on arrival

Last Minutes Booking Policies

Last minutes bookings if the bookings are made in 72 hours, 48 hours or 24 hours before departure

Less than 24 hours before your trip departure, please email us  at: info@vietnampathfinder.com or Call at 084 913323977, we shall inform with our available services that with the same quality, standard as the package tours or any our travel services you wish to book on our website: www.vietnampathfinder.com, before process the final booking.

Refund and amendment will not be applied for last minute bookings.

Compulsory at Peak Season & Surcharge

Hotels or Boats (Halong bay, Mekong delta) will request during Christmas, New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year period, we will inform you via email this special surcharge and your own account
